Joining the test
Jusmoni is being tested on Google Play before everyone can get it. You need an Android phone, the Google account whose email you gave us, and the "You're in" email we sent you.
1. Accept the invite
- On your phone, open the Google Play link in the "You're in" email.
- Make sure you're signed in to the Google account we invited. If the page says it isn't available, you're probably signed in to a different account: switch accounts and open the link again.
- Tap Become a tester.
No email yet? Ask for early access, and we'll write when your invite is ready.
2. Install from Google Play
On the same page, tap the link to Jusmoni on Google Play, then Install. It can take a few minutes after you join before the app shows up for you.
3. Allow SMS access
Jusmoni works by reading the money alerts your mobile money and banks send you. The first time you open it, it explains why, then Android asks you to allow SMS access.
- Android's question says "send and view SMS messages", because that's how Android groups SMS permissions. Jusmoni only reads them. It never sends, deletes or uploads a message.
- If you tap Don't allow, the app shows how to turn it on later: Settings, Apps, Jusmoni, Permissions, SMS.
- The first scan reads your inbox on the phone and takes a minute or so. If your bank or network isn't read yet, tell us: that's how we know which to add next.
4. Updates
New versions come through Google Play, like any other app. Testers get them before everyone else. Leave automatic updates on, or update Jusmoni from your Play Store app list.
Please stay for two weeks
Google Play needs testers to stay in the test for at least two weeks before Jusmoni can be released to everyone. If something doesn't work for you, send feedback or reply to any of our emails, and we'll try to fix it.
Leaving the test
- Open the link from the "You're in" email again and tap Leave the program.
- Uninstall Jusmoni. That deletes everything the app stored. Nothing else needs deleting: the app has no internet access, so your messages and transactions were never anywhere but your phone.
- To have your early access request deleted too, email info@jusmoni.comor reply "remove me" to any of our emails.
